KALORI FOR BRANDS | For restaurants and food brands
Share your menu's nutrition with your customers on Kalori.
Kalori is a service for looking up and logging the nutrition of restaurant and convenience-store menus. Enter your official values, and your customers see the same values on Kalori's menu pages, the meal-logging app, AI chat and partner services.
We are currently running an invitation-only pilot, open to brands we already list and brands not yet listed.
You can publish your official nutrition values for free.

How we list menus today
Items without official values are listed and clearly labeled "Estimated".
Kalori lists menus using the nutrition values published on official websites as the source. When we cannot find values on the official website, we list values estimated by AI and clearly label them as estimates. Estimates can differ from the actual values.
You are welcome to start with only the items and fields you care about. Items and fields you do not enter stay as they are listed today.
If you find an error in a listing, we would be grateful if you let us know, whether or not you join the pilot. We will check and correct it free of charge. contact@kalori.jp
Today
Fields without an official value show an AI estimate labeled "Estimated". It may differ from the actual value.
From the morning after approval
Fields you enter are replaced with your values, and the "Estimated" label is removed.
How to join
For brands we already list, and brands not yet listed.
Both start from the same application form. The steps differ slightly depending on how you are listed today.
Is your restaurant listed?
Enter your restaurant's name to check how it is listed today. Its page also shows how many menu items include estimated values.
Brands we already list
Replace listed menu items with your official values
If your brand is already listed on Kalori, this is your path.
- 1
Apply
Please enter your email address, company and brand name, and a few details in the application form.
- 2
We confirm you and send an invitation
To prevent impersonation, we confirm that you are in charge of the brand, for example from your email domain. Once confirmed, we email you an invitation to the dashboard.
- 3
Enter values in the dashboard
Choose a listed menu item, enter its nutrition values, select the basis of the values (lab analysis, specification sheet, recipe calculation and so on) and submit.
- 4
Shown everywhere from the morning after approval
Before approving, we only look for obvious entry errors such as a misplaced digit and for mix-ups between menu items. Approved values are generally published with the next morning's update.
Brands not yet listed
If you would like your restaurant listed
Even if your brand is not listed yet, we welcome listing requests, whatever your number of locations and whether or not your menu is published on your website.
- 1
Request a listing
In the same application form, choose "I want a brand that is not yet listed to be listed" and let us know your brand name and, if you have one, the URL of your official website.
- 2
Kalori prepares the listing
If your menu is published on your official website, we list it from there. If it is not, we ask you for the menu information needed for the listing.
- 3
We invite you once listed
When the listing is live, we email you an invitation to the dashboard.
- 4
Enter official values
From here the steps are the same as for listed brands. You can enter official values, starting with the items you care about.
We review your application and contact you about how the listing will proceed. We cannot promise when a brand will be listed, and appreciate your understanding.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a cost?
You can publish your official nutrition values for free. Entering and submitting official values, confirming that you are in charge of the brand, showing approved values everywhere on Kalori, and requesting corrections cost nothing, whenever you register.
We have not calculated our nutrition values yet. Can we join?
Yes, you are welcome to apply. With the nutrition calculator in the dashboard, you can work out a menu item's nutrition values from its ingredients and quantities.
Which restaurants can join?
The pilot is for staff of companies that serve menus, such as restaurants and convenience stores (by invitation). Single restaurants and chains are both welcome. For brands we already list, we confirm from your application that you are in charge of the brand and send an invitation to the dashboard. For brands not yet listed, we take your application as a listing request.
We are not listed on Kalori yet. Can we join?
Yes, whatever your number of locations and whether or not your menu is published on your website. Choose "I want a brand that is not yet listed to be listed" in the application form. If your menu is published on your official website, Kalori lists your restaurant and menu items from there. If it is not, we ask you for the menu information needed for the listing. We invite you to the dashboard once the listing is live. We cannot promise when a brand will be listed, and appreciate your understanding.
We publish nutrition values on our official website. Do we need to enter them?
We read the values published on official websites and list them with your website as the source. If they are listed correctly, you do not need to enter them. For items where the reading is wrong, or items without values on the official website, the values you enter in the dashboard take priority.
Does approval mean Kalori has verified the values?
No. Before approving, we only look for obvious entry errors such as a misplaced digit and for mix-ups between menu items; we do not judge whether the values themselves are correct. The brand providing the values is responsible for confirming their accuracy.
Are values passed to partner services?
Yes. Approved values are provided as data to the services of businesses under contract with Kalori (Article 5 of the Terms of Service, Restaurant Brands Addendum), with a label showing that the values were provided by your company. Drafts and values not yet submitted are never provided.
Can we withdraw values we have published?
Yes. If you ask us to stop publication, we stop showing the values in the Kalori app and website and providing them to partner services within a reasonable period. Those items go back to showing the official-website values or Kalori's estimates. We cannot promise to recall values already provided to partner services before the stop, and appreciate your understanding.
